WELCOME to the Conference CONTROL SYSTEMS 2010

The Control Systems conference is held every two years and is the preeminent conference in the area of process control and systems engineering for the pulp and paper industry.
The Control Systems Conference 2010 is hosted by SPCI (The Swedish Association of Pulp and Paper Engineers) and Innventia (one of the world's leading R&D companies in the fields of pulp, paper, the graphics media, packaging and logistics).
The three day program attracts production engineers and control systems professionals from the pulp and paper industry world wide.
Contributors to the papers represent pulp and paper mills, control systems and machinery suppliers, rsearch organisations and universities.

➤ For authors: The final full text manuscript should be provided by June 24, 2010.
-The conference covers a variety of themes including Energy Optimization and Pulp Mill Control. Other sessions cover Asset Management and new path breaking Sensors development, with a special focus on CD Sensors for improving the cross machine variability of the sheet, which is followed up in subsequent sessions on CD Control and Paper Machine Control and optimization.
-In parallell with the conference will be held a table top exhibition where important suppliers to the industry will be presenting new and proven solutions for optimal production of forrest based products.
-The conference gives ample time for all participants to strengthen their network of control systems professionals, not the least during the conference dinner on Wednesday, directly after the last session ends for the day.
-On Thursday after the conference, Innventia (formerly STFI) a leading innovation partner for the industry, invites you to a get-together at it's research laboratories where you can meet with researchers and study some of the latest equipment for innovative research and development in the field of forrest based products.
